COVID-19 Walks
This is my COVID journal. It is a work-in-progress. Like most photo projects during the Coronavirus pandemic, it began by staying at home...or at least close to home. I started carrying a small camera with me on walks with my aging dog, Chase, as a means to document our world in the midst of a strange global event. I wasn't sure what the project was and I'm still searching, but after more than a month of keeping a nearly daily practice, we have developed a routine of normalcy around keeping a safe distance from our families, friends, neighbors, and strangers. To my surprise, strong communities have developed despite constant fear and suspicion, and daily life continues, albeit in slightly different ways.
This is an ongoing journal practice and will be updated occasionally, and irregularly...or just whenever I feel like it. Honestly, I'll probably be better about putting things up on instagram.
